International workshop groups consisting of participants from France, Hungary, Italy and Poland have made four short films related to risks of consumption of alcohol and psychoactive substances.

Polish National Filmmeetings KAMERALNE LATO have remarkably social character, what can be seen in film screenings as well as film education programmes. Festival for many years cooperates with Mazovian Voivodeship Police Headquaters in Radom, that provides theoretical and logistic support for young people who comes to Poland to make social and preventive films.

– We want to expose risks related to alcohol consumption – said inspektor Marek Świszcz, I Deputy Commander of the Mazovian Voivodeship Police Headquaters in Radom.

Young people in a creative way illustrated that alcohol consumption can alienate, and the consequences can be very serious and irreversible. Films are also a warning against seeking peers acceptation by provoking dangerous situations being under the influence of alcohol. It also clearly shows that we can become perpetrators or victims of violence and crimes by way of incident.
