The PFG: Youth Postcards From Grenoble project was an opportunity for young filmmakers from all over Europe to develop their filmmaking skills and speak out on matters that concern them.
From 17 to 26 February 2023, a filmmaking workshops organised by the Kinographe Association took place in Grenoble, France, with the Polish co-organiser the FILMFORUM Association. Young people from France, Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania and Italy worked in groups for 10 days. Under the guidance of professional filmmakers and educators they were raising important social issues and experimenting with filmmaking styles and non-narrative forms. As a result, four short films were created and presented at the final ceremony.
At the end of March 2023, the Kinographe Association shared participants’ videos on social media. Each of the etudes is accompanied by a special description prepared by the film crew. You can see (and read) them below:
