Kameralne Lato 2020: the recruitment of films for competitions has started

The recruitment of films for the competitions of the 13th Polish National Film Meetings KAMERALNE LATO is starting. Short films can be submitted to two competition sections: the Main Competition and the HYDE PARK Jet Film Competition. Applications can be sent electronically until June 29, 2020. We hope to meet in Radom in August this year to watch a good movie together.

Polish National Film Meetings KAMERALNE LATOhas been focusing on the promotion of young Polish cinema and shaping good social models for 13 years by encouraging participation in broadly understood film culture. The organizers present carefully selected short films whose creators want to join their discussion with the problems of the modern world. A world that is changing before our eyes including under the influence of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Main Competition: hot summer, hot discussions

It is worth emphasizing that Kameralne Lato is a platform for hot and honest discussions. The Main Competition always presents films that arouse emotions, give rise to questions and never leave the viewer indifferent.

As every year, filmmakers can submit all film forms and genres, lasting no more than 40 minutes, produced after January 1, 2019. The authors of the films can be professional filmmakers, students and graduates of art schools as well as artists creating outside the main circuit of audiovisual production and distribution.

This year’s jury will evaluate high-class professionals from the film industry. The main prize in the Competition is the ZŁOTY ŁUCZNIK awarded since 2013 – the prize of the President of the City of Radom in the amount of PLN 10,000.

Hyde Park competition: you have a crazy movie, report it here!

The HYDE PARK Jet Film Competition is a place for unobvious, crazy and experimental films. Films that go beyond the “genre drawers”.

For this competition, according to the saying – “Sky is the limit” – anyone can submit their film. The only limit is its duration – it cannot be longer than 15 minutes.

Detailed information on formal requirements and the application procedure can be found in the regulations of individual competitions available on the festival’s website:
