Join the Krystian Dulewicz Film Workshops!

If you dream of making films – starting with writing a script and organising production, through acting and directing, to editing – these workshop is for you. As part of the 12th WAMA Film Festival, applications for the Krystian Dulewicz Film Workshop is now open. The deadline for submissions is 10 August 2025.

Do you want to see how the magic of cinema comes to life, experience what it’s like to stand in front of a camera, create a scene, and then watch it on the big screen? Or perhaps capture special moments through the camera lens?
This workshop gives young filmmakers a chance to develop their skills in practice.

Krystian Dulewicz Film Workshops is a non-formal film education programme organised to encourage intercultural integration among young people with their peers from historically intertwined Poland, Ukraine, Germany and Lithuania through film art.

The international film workshop is an opportunity to learn the basics of filmmaking and photography.

The workshop’s patron is Krystian Dulewicz – a cinematographer and a respected, dedicated mentor of young people.

Main goals

  • to meet people with similar interests from other European countries;
  • to promote the unique cultural heritage of Central and Eastern Europe
  • & to disseminate issues related to broadly understood multiculturalism;
  • to exchange experiences;
  • to conduct research on valuable audiovisual content;
  • to provide peer education.

The organiser of the Krystian Dulewicz Film Workshops is the FILMFORUM Association.

The educational partners of the workshop are CinemaHall (Ukraine) and Offener Kanal Magdeburg e.V. (Germany) and Tavo Europa (Lithuania).

The project “Krystian Dulewicz Polish-Ukrainian Film Workshops” is cofinanced by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage through the “Polish-Ukrainian Youth Exchange 2025” program of National Centre of Culture, Poland.
