Another edition of the Krystian Dulewicz Film Workshop is behind us — a continuation of a project organized for the past nine years by the FILMFORUM Association in collaboration with the Ukrainian organization CinemaHall.
From October 1–7, the Polish-Ukrainian Krystian Dulewicz Film Workshop took place in Olsztyn. Young people from Poland, Ukraine, and France spent a week immersed in discussions, learning to operate professional film equipment, writing scripts, and working on film sets. The aim of the initiative was also to foster broad cultural integration and create opportunities for international friendships among young film enthusiasts.
The results of the workshop groups’ efforts—three original short films—are presented below:
The third film, “Mr. Perfect,” was created at the initiative of the participants and serves as a kind of response to one of last year’s short films bearing the same title. We are truly delighted that the workshop participants feel comfortable among their peers, return for future editions of the project, and are eager to continue making films in their free time—including humorous ones.
The project is organized by the FILMFORUM Association.
The “Krystian Dulewicz Polish-Ukrainian Film Workshop” is funded by the National Centre for Culture as part of the “Polish-Ukrainian Youth Exchange 2023” program.
The project is co-funded by the European Union.
The educational partners of the workshop are CinemaHall (Ukraine) and Kinographe (France).
