Is your film the best short in the world? Find out by submitting it to the International Short Film Competition at the 23rd CINEMAFORUM. Submissions are open until September 30, 2024.
This autumn, Atlantic Cinema will once again become the center of short films. This time, earlier than usual — from October 23 to 27 — the CINEMAFORUM festival will fill its screens with award-winning masterpieces and hidden gems that the world has yet to discover. Do you feel your short film belongs among them? Find out how to make it happen.
WHAT KIND OF FILMS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We invite films from all parts of the world, which are:
- feature films (including animated movies), representing any genre or subject matter;
- produced within 24 months prior to the submission deadline;
- have a runtime of less than 40 minutes.

HOW TO SUBMIT A FILM?
To participate in the submission process, simply fill out and send the submission form via the website cinemaforum.pl.
The list of titles selected for the Main Competition will be announced by October 7, 2024. The winners will be announced on October 27, 2024, during the final gala of CINEMAFORUM – the 23rd International Short Film Forum.
The organiser of the festival is the FILMFORUM Association.
The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage
from the Fund for the Promotion of Culture and from the funds of the City of Warsaw. The festival is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
The main festival venue is the Atlantic cinema in Warsaw.
The Andrzej Wajda Centre For Film Culture is the main partner of the event.
The programming partners of the festival are: Mazovia Warsaw Film Commission, Mazovia Institute of Culture, American Film Festival and British Council. BEIKS Machulski is the technological partner of the project.
