Krystian Dulewicz Film Workshops in Olsztyn

If you dream of making films—starting with writing a script and organising production, through acting and directing, to editing—these workshop is for you. As part of the 12th WAMA Film Festival, applications for the Krystian Dulewicz Film Workshop is now open. The deadline for submissions is 20 August 2025.

Do you want to see how the magic of cinema comes to life, experience what it’s like to stand in front of a camera, create a scene, and then watch it on the big screen? Or perhaps capture special moments through the camera lens?
This workshop gives young filmmakers a chance to develop their skills in practice. The result of this collaborative work will be short public service announcements (PSAs) addressing social issues.

Besides providing hands-on filmmaking experience, the workshop aims to connect cultures, foster integration, and build international friendships. Participants will come from several European countries, including Ukraine — creativity knows no bounds!

The workshop’s patron is Krystian Dulewicz – a cinematographer and a respected, dedicated mentor of young people.

How to join:

  1. Develop an idea for a short public-service announcement (PSA) script.
  2. Submit your application using the online form.

The 12th WAMA Film Festival will take place in Olsztyn from 9 to 13 September 2025.
