INTERFILMLAB 8.0 | The Application of Artificial Intelligence and Implementation of Sustainability Principles in Audiovisual Productions

We cordially invite you to read the publication summarising the 8th edition of INTERFILMLAB – an education programme aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and export possibilities of the Polish film industry.

The aim of the INTERFILMLAB 8.0 project was to provide young Polish filmmakers (especially producers and directors, but also those willing to grow professionally in specializations such as sales agents and film distribution) with current knowledge on the functioning of the international film market and building export potential immediately at the development and production planning stages, and not – as is usually the case – as late as promoting a finished film.

During the practical activities of the workshop, two issues came to light, which not only define contemporary film production standards, but also are a source of unease for the young participants of the project. The first of them was the implementation of sustainability (green filmmaking) in audiovisual production, and the second – the application of artificial intelligence in production. These themes became the most intense subjects of discussion among the filmmakers attending the workshops and training sessions, and they became the subject of the publication summarizing the project.

The full publication is available below (in Polish).

The publication was authored by Anna Wróblewska – PhD in Arts, academic teacher, writer, and culture manager.
