ABOUT FILMFORUM

A film critic, TV host, and master of ceremonies. He is the host of the “Kino mówi” programme on Ale kino+ and “Premierowa Jazda” on Canal+. Artistic director of the CINEMAFORUM Festival in Warsaw, where he is responsible for competition selection and programming other sections. He regularly observes global short cinema at the Venice festival and other significant events. He has co-authored books about the oeuvres of Terry Gilliam, David Cronenberg, David Lynch, and Kazimierz Kutz, and an English-language publication about the cinema of Central-Eastern Europe (“Eastern Promises”). He is a member of the European Film Academy. Laureate of the Grand Prix of the Krzysztof Mętrak Competition and the Polish Film Institute Award.
