ABOUT FILMFORUM

A film culture animator, involved in film promotion, youth education, and supporting independent creators. His activities encompass various educational, artistic, and organisational projects. He worked as a cinema and film education officer at the Centrum Aktywności Lokalnej (Local Activity Centre) in Pionki. During his time there, he founded and managed the local branch of the community cinema, Kino za Rogiem (Around the Corner Cinema). Currently, he is working at the Miejski Ośrodek Kultury “Amfiteatr” in Radom, where he oversees the work of the Pracownia Nowych Mediów (New Media Workshop). Within the workshop, he conducts classes in fiction filmmaking, journalism, and acting for young people interested in film careers. He supervises the “Radom Movie: Akcja” film group, whose film “…który skrzywdziłeś” has won numerous awards at amateur film festivals. He is a recipient of the ALTERGRANT cultural award, presented by the Mazowiecki Instytut Kultury (Masovian Institute of Culture). He was also awarded the Special Jan Machulski Award for lifetime achievement in film education. He is the founder and main organiser of the HYDE PARK contest and a co-founder and a selector for the WYSOKIE LOTY contest.
