Marta Sikorska

She studied film studies at the Jagiellonian University and screenwriting at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw. In 2010–2018 she worked at the Polish Film Institute, where she was responsible, among others, for preparing texts for the website, reports from events and film sets. Co-founder of DOCS TO GO! carried out with the Krakow Film Festival. In 2015–2018, she was a co-editor of the Polish Films / Polskie Filmy catalogs published by the Polish Film Institute. She cooperated with the Warsaw Film School as PR Manager, and for 3 years she has also been the originator and coordinator of the Literary and Film Breakfast at the Script Fiesta Festival of Screenwriters. She collaborated, among others with the Mazovia Warsaw Film Commission and Creative Europe Desk Polska, as well as on the portals,, as well as in the Czas Kultury magazine and the Przekrój weekly. Juror of the Filmweb competition "Powiększenie" for young film critics. From 2012, co-organizer of the Warszawa Czyta campaign and co-founder of the Mokotów Book Discussion Club. Co-author of the amateur documentary "Skowronki ciszy" (2003) by Maciej Rostek about deaf people.
